The location is excellent with a bus stop and small shop right outside, and the white sandy beach just across the road, also within walking distance of bars and eateries if required. the staff were friendly, helpful and couldn't do more for us and the groundsman kept the property immaculate, working with pride on it. There were always fresh towels and linen as required and beach towels for hire too. The communications from here in NZ were always quickly replied to, right up to the last evening when I realised i had mucked my air bookings up and needed an extra night's accommodation. The setting of the lodge rooms surrounds the central pool area and our room was soaked in afternoon and evening sun, a wonderful stay, will be back!

We only stayed one night, arriving on a very early morning flight as we were flying out early the next day to Aitutaki. It was nice to have a basic room with a breakfast pack including water. Staff dealt with were pleasant. I cannot make any comment on the beach across the road.

Puaikura Reef Lodges was easily accessible both in the booking and the location. We stayed there before flying out on a night flight. It was a nice place to relax and sleep before our flight. It was quiet enough to sleep in the afternoon and early evening.
We received the breakfast @ 1400hrs as we were leaving in the night. It would have been nice to have the option of breakfast or not.

Beach is just across the road. Concrete tile floors so no worries about sand, or wet feet/clothes in the unit we had. Lovely fresh water pool. lovely sounds of the waves on the reef. Photos of the unit we booked were an accurate representation of the room.

We loved that the swimming pool was just outside the door of our units and that the beach was just across the road. Great that you provide all the swimming things. Great Shuttle Pick up!! Everything was great!! We had a wonderful time. Thank you!!!
One comment would be if we knew that you provide beach towels we would not have bought our own. Great that you provide them, and snorkels, and beach shoes. The other thing was the NOISY group of young people, partying by the pool all night on Saturday night. But they did quieten down the next night.

We booked Puaikura for two nights to arrive in Cook Islands, before flying to Atiu. Friendly and helpful staff. Transfer from airport at midnight with no problems. Only small road between lodges and beach. Good value for money.
